Favorite Products this Season and a Tip

* This is not a sponsored post - I paid for all these items out of my pocket.

I found new shampoo at Target that I picked up and have used a few times now. I am totally loving this new line thus far. I both highlight my hair and heat treat it constantly. So I try to baby it. I purchased the Moisture Line which is formulated with both apricot and honey, both supposed to be very good for your hair.

I also replaced my Chi flat iron. It died last summer, at that time I purchased a flat iron from hot tools. Which worked fairly well, though I realized how much better the Chi is when I used it Sunday. My hair is much softer, shiner, it doesn't "crunch" and its much straighter. I'll never cheat on my Chi again. The hot tools is in storage for emergencies only.  I will add that I repurchased the original Chi after reading reviews on that the the newer Chi isn't the same, it doesn't last as long and doesn't do as good a job in straightening your hair with the least amount of damage as possible.

At the moment JC Penney has these on sale. There are also coupon codes that can be bundled with it. I got mine on sale bundled coupon codes and reward points with it then used my ebates for cash back.  By the way if you do any online shopping at all and are not using ebates, uh why the hell not?? I purchased quite a few things that I was out of last weekend while ebates celebrated their 16th birthday, so most of what I purchased also came with 16% cash back!  You can sign up for ebates here ~>  Ebates

A few months ago in my Ipsy bag I received a Luxie large angled face brush. I have used it constantly since. Luxie brushes are 100% animal cruelty free so they are totally synthetic, however they are so soft and fluffy. I plan on replacing all my brushes with Luxie brushes. They have a face set that I am eyeing.

Tip time:

The weather warms up and families start scheduling family pictures. Ladies, be aware of your products, those that contain sunscreen will reflect the flash back to the camera causing that "white out" look.  When you are looking at having pictures taken be mindful of either having to use flash photography or skip the suncreen in your products for that day and reach for the HD or Photo finish products..

Pictures were taken at the same time, left is with flash the right is without. On the left see how much lighter my face is on my cheeks - my highlighter apparently contains a shit-ton of sunscreen! I will say I do like the way it diffuses light but not that my face looks 2 shades lighter than my neck and chest.

* I did edit my "bitch wrinkle" out but that is the ONLY edit *

So I quit smoking!!  I did start vaping so the urge to smoke isn't there.  My nicotine level is so much lower than when I was smok...
